Alien Tech – GALEP-5 Palm-size device programmer
GALEP-5 is a universal palm-size programmer, the easiest to handle and faster between all the others. It can support over 15000 different devices, so is a perfect fusion of technology and handiness.
Uncompromisingly designed for speed. An internal 200 MIPS ARM-9 processor under Embedded Linux handles communications and programming. An FPGA (User-Programmable Logic) device controls the pin drivers and supports hardware acceleration of the programming. This way, even-time critical devices can be programmed in a speed that could never be reached by pure software.
La gestione dei componenti è completamente assistita da un software intuitivo, compatibile con Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP e Vista, che permette di effettuare tutte le operazioni sui device (programmazione, cancellazione, verifica, lettura, blank check) e di visualizzare e modificare il contenuto del buffer di memoria.
Dimensions and Hardware of the instrument are studied to allow 
the best manageability (dimensions 80X115X33 mm) and it doesn’t request an external power supply (a power unit is provided in the kit) for devices that doesn’t consumes more than 500 mA.
